Daniel Beitchman isn't a CIUT volunteer. He's an actor, collector, writer etc. But he is a 20 year listener to CIUT and sends in donations. He also is a ten time host of Vinyl From the Musical Crypt which he just loves doing. So we had a chat and it was a good one. Enjoy!

2 interviews today. Firstly, Ron Lavoie who got involved with the station in the early '80s and currently lives in Montreal. We had him on Zoom.
The second interview with by mistake. Our team thought that Vezi Tayyeb had something to do with CIUT but he didn't. But the interview went so well that we had to air it. Vezi operated Kensington Sound studios in Toronto and has been doing that since 1972

People would find it very difficult to be as busy as Jaymz Bee. A music producer, broadcaster, film director, book writer... the list never ends.
He started his broadcasting career at both CKLN and CIUT in the later 1980s and is currently working at JAZZ - FM. It was a an interview which strayed into various other worlds - like the world of Al Waxman for instance, or the Rosebud Restaurant in his native North Bay. It was a fun interview that shouldn't be missed.

Ken's been a fixture at CIUT ever since he arrived there in 1988 and started doing radio. He's always been involved with the station, having served as Station Manager (2010 - 2022) and has been Program Director since 2002. He also hosts two 3 hour programs a week.
I've known him a long time but this interview set a few things straight.
