Lynn Slotkin was the theatre critic for the CBC for over ten years until the corporation brilliantly decided to shed itself of critics by getting rid of their music, art and theatre critics (they did retain their movie critics). Because of this, she migrated over to CIUT. So how does one become such a critic, who are their role models, what's the Toronto scene like and what is its history?
