RR42 - Radio Recall - Guest Ken Stowar

Ken Stowar began his decades long association with CIUT in 1988 but we have already spoken with him (RR26) about his work as a volunteer programmer. This time we concentrated on his job as Program Director (since 2002) and taking on the Station Manager's role in 2010. We spoke about the ups and downs, the sacrifices, the wiping out of our debt and being struck with (2026) a dead transmitter two days before a funding drive and Covid. It's a fascinating tale of dedication, love and thinking outside of the box.
